Order/Settlement

Futures contract

Orders are divided into, in accordance with the designation of a specified price, a limit order where a member executes a trade at a designated price or better price and a market order where a member executes a trade at the best available price without designating a specified price. Orders are also divided into, in accordance with the combination of series, an ordinary order for a single series and a combination order for a combined series which has a condition which the order with multi and different series are executed simultaneously.

The combination order is sub-divided into a standard combination order comprising of the series to be determined by Members. A Member can place orders under the one among the three conditions which are fill or kill, fill and kill, and fill and store.

When giving an order to Eugene Investment & Futures, instructions must be in written form (fax or mail) or in e-mail form with an authorized signature. In case of using telephone, we make recordings in order to verify the details relating to transfer transaction. The Information required as follows.

  • The type of contract
  • The contract month
  • Whether the order is for a new sale (purchase) transaction or short-covering (long-liquidation) transaction
  • The number of trading units
  • The limit of price
  • The life of the order
  • As for options, you should specify whether it is a put option or a call option, the contract month and the exercise price

Settlement

Once your order is executed, Eugene Investment & Futures will contact you regarding the results of your trade and will deliver to you a transaction report showing the details of concluded transaction.
